How does the booking process work?
You choose your arrival and departure dates, enter the number of guests and submit a request via the website. Within 24 hours, you’ll receive a confirmation with all the details and a payment link.
Do I have to pay the full amount in one go?
No, you pay a 30% deposit when you book. The remaining amount will be automatically debited 6 weeks before arrival.
What is the cancellation policy?
If you cancel up to 30 days before arrival, you’ll receive a full refund of your deposit. After that, unfortunately, cancellation is no longer free of charge.
What is the €100 security deposit for?
The security deposit covers any damage to the property or its contents. Provided everything is in order on departure, you’ll receive this amount back within 7 days.
Arrival & stay
What time can I check in and check out?
Check-in is between 16:00 and 23:00, and check-out is between 07:00 and 11:00. If you’re arriving outside these times, please get in touch with Jan.
Is early check-in or late check-out possible?
This is sometimes possible, depending on availability around the time of your stay. Please feel free to enquire about this when booking.
Are pets allowed?
Small pets are welcome by prior arrangement. Please mention this when booking, and we’ll discuss the options.
Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes, the villa has free Wi-Fi throughout the property and on the terrace.
Is there parking available?
Yes, there is a private parking space right next to the property.
Location & transport
Do I need a car?
A car isn’t essential — the town centre and the beach are within walking distance — but it’s recommended if you want to explore the surrounding area (such as Algar Seco or Benagil).
How far is the airport?
The nearest airport is Faro, about an hour’s drive from the villa.
Is the beach really within walking distance?
Yes, it’s a 10-minute walk to the beach and the centre of Carvoeiro.

What if I have a question or a problem during my stay?
Jan is available 24/7 by phone and email for any queries, big or small.
Will the property be cleaned during my stay?
For stays longer than 7 nights, a mid-stay cleaning service is scheduled halfway through your stay.
Is bed linen included?
Bed linen isn’t included as standard, but can be booked as an extra for €15.00 per person.
